Acadia National Park is one of our favorite shooting locations especially in the fall. Besides the gorgeous colors, Acadia offers coastal scenery hard to match anywhere. And, yes, the ocean can get rough too with waves crashing on the rocky coast. Sunrises and sunsets will blow your mind. The quaint carriage roads will add variety to your coastal shooting.

In addition to shooting in the park, we'll visit a couple of the charming towns around Acadia and feast at Bar Harbor's finest restaurants. Ready for some authentic clam chowder? How about a 1-1/4 pound lobster (and, there's a "lazy person" offering where they cut it all up for you).  Assisting George as guest instructor will be Cliff Zenor.  Cliff and George have known each other for 25 years and have photographed together many times.  Both are very familiar with Acadia and you can count on being at the right place at the right time for the best light.  Please go to "About Us" to see Cliff's bio.

We plan to have seven classroom sessions; one Wednesday evening then one after the morning shoot and another after lunch over the following three days. So we'll have plenty of time to offer honest critiques of your images.

Come join us; we can't guarantee weather (although we've never gotten shut out at Acadia) but we can promise you'll have a great time.
